User talk:John Bray
Congrats!
I'm delighted to see the handoff to CDSG. For about 18 months it had been very difficult to get thru to John Stanton for things that only he could do as top Administrator; and much worse: off and on during that time, the site had been taken over by spam, which led me to remove all my links for a few months.
But recently John did get in touch with me and told me you guys were topnotch. I've restored all my links, over 10,000 of them!
I'm particularly happy that you kept the architecture exactly as it was. Even with a change in the front part — "fortWiki.com" that would have been great, very easy to fix on my site with a global-replace; but I was dreading the possibility that the pages would each turn into one of those things like "…/abc.cgi-next?q?xr432az-?=566A making large-scale link transfer essentially impossible, both on my own site and on Wickedpedia.
In sum, how do I spell relief? K-U-D-O-S. Long may FortWiki continue as the invaluable resource it is.
