Camp Black (2) (1865-1865) - A U.S. Civil War era Camp established in 1865 near Paradise Valley, Humboldt County, Nevada. Named Camp Black after Colonel Henry Moore Black, (Cullum 1354), 6th California Volunteer Infantry. Abandoned later in 1865. History Camp Black (2) was occupied in July and August of 1865 by Company I, 6th California Volunteer Infantry, Captain Albert Hahn in command. Abandoned later in 1865.
