Columbus Arsenal (1) (1862-1865) - A Confederate arsenal established in 1862 during the U.S. Civil War in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia. Destroyed in a raid by Union General James H. Wilson in 1865. Columbus Arsenal (1) HistoryEstablished by Confederate Captain Frederick C. Humphreys in May 1862. Completely destroyed in a raid by Union General James H. Wilson on 16 Apr 1865. Current StatusColumbus, Muscogee County, Georgia
