The first and second of three gun platforms on the battery. The carriage for the 3 inch rapid fire rifles would sit on top of the pedistal mount collar, which you see here. By the stairs on the right is a ammunition recess that stored the 3 inch shells for the rifle. Down below you can see the entrances to maganzine rooms one and two.
