Hello!  I am the co-creator and prime editor of the http://www.northamericanforts.com NorthAmericanForts.com website, an extensive and comprehensive list of all known military and settler forts and fortifications, trading posts, training camps, naval shipyards, and other pre-World War II military camps and bases (sorry, no airfields), throughout the United States, Canada, and their associated territories and possessions.  I am a member of the Coast Defense Study Group, which is where my primary interest lays, but I also have a strong interest in US Civil War forts and battlefields.  I have visited many sites across the US and Canada.
