Hello! I am the co-creator and prime editor of the http://www.northamericanforts.com NorthAmericanForts.com website, an extensive and comprehensive list of all known military and settler forts and fortifications, trading posts, training camps, naval shipyards, and other pre-World War II military camps and bases (sorry, no airfields), throughout the United States, Canada, and their associated territories and possessions. I am a member of the Coast Defense Study Group, which is where my primary interest lays, but I also have a strong interest in US Civil War forts and battlefields. I also have past-memberships in the Council of America's Military Past (CAMP), and the Company of Military Historians. I have visited many historic sites across the US and Canada, and have an extensive home library of source material for reference.
