Fort Patrick Henry (1)

Fort Patrick Henry (1) (1776-1783 or later) - Two successive frontier forts at the same location, established in 1760 and again in September, 1776 "on or near" the site of Fort Robinson, and used in the war against the Cherokees of that year. It was garrisoned at least thru the end of the Revolution.
