    • Sailed from Savannah on steamship "Michigan" January 10; arrived at Matanzas, Cuba, January 13.
    • Regiment left Matanzas on steamship "Meade" April 4; arrived at Boston, Mass., April 9

Mustered out of the serVICe of the United States at Boston, Mass., April 28, 1899, with 46 officers and 1,161 enlisted men. Casualties while in service: Officers--died of disease, 1. Enlisted men-died of disease, 30; deserted, 15.
