Mustered out of the service of the United States at stations of companies, viz, Chester, Philadelphia, Phoenixville, Norristown, Doylestown, Media, Westchester, Pa., October 17, 1898, with 50 officers and 1,223 enlisted men. Casualties while in service: Officers-none. Enlisted of disease, 8; deserted, 4.
