Naval Air Facility Adak (1942-1997) - Naval Air Facility Adak was alternately an Army Air Field, Air Force Base, and Naval Air and Communications facility located on Adak Island in the Western Aleutian Island Chain. Also known as Adak Army Airfield, Davis Air Force Base, and Naval Communications Station Adak.
