Class of 1837 - 50 Graduates

Among those graduating in this class were General Braxton Bragg, Lieutenant General John C. Pemberton, Major Generals Arnold Elzey and William H. T. Walker, and a few others of the Confederate Army; and Major Generals John Sedgwick, Joseph Hooker, Jubal Anderson Early and William H. French.

The whole of this class received appointments in the United States Army shortly after graduation and very few of the class had to go through the probation of brevet lieutenants.
