22nd New York Volunteer Infantry (1898-1898) - Organized and mustered into the service of the United States at Hempstead, N. Y., May 24, 1898, with 49 officers and 960 enlisted men.

Mustered out of the service of the United States at Fort Slocum, N. Y., November 23, 1898, with 49 officers and 1,149 enlisted men. Casualties while in service: Officers-none. Enlisted men-drowned, 2; deserted, 23.
