  • Furloughed for sixty days September 7

Mustered out of the service of the United States at Boston, Mass., November 26, 1898, with 46 officers and 1,151 enlisted men. Casualties while in service: Officers-died of disease, 4. Enlisted men-wounded, 3; died of disease, 110; killed by accident, 1; deserted, 1.
