One of three similarly named trading posts established along the Clark Fork River and one post established between the river and Flathead lake.
Flathead Post (2) was a Hudson's Bay Company trading post established by Alexander Ross in 1823 along the Clark Fork River at present-day Eddy in Sanders County, Montana.
Abandoned in 1847 for Fort Connah.
Current Status
Unknown in Eddy, Montana.
