Fort Defiance (2) (1845-1851) - First established as a trading post in 1845 by an ex-employee of the American Fur Company named Bouis. Abandoned in 1851. Also known as Fort Bouis.
Current Status
Probably under the waters of Lake Sharpe (Hart).
