Fisher Body (1908-Present) - Founded by the Fisher brothers in 1908, in Detroit Michigan as an automobile body maker. Became an operating division of General Motors in 1926. During World War I and World War II the company produced vehicles, planes and tanks for the government as well as specialized gun carriages.
