  • Furloughed for sixty days

Mustered out of the service of the United States at Columbus January 20, 1899, with 49 officers and 1,210 enlisted men. Casualties while in service: Officers-none. Enlisted men-killed in action, 1; wounded, 9; died of disease, 23; deserted 5.
