Fort Badger (1866-1866) - A U.S. Army Fort established in 1866 near Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. Abandoned in 1866. History of Fort BadgerProbably established in 1866 near the confluence of the Verde and Salado rivers. Sometimes erroneously identified as an early Fort McDowell. Current StatusUnknown
