The 1763 Treaty of Paris was an agreement between Great Britain, France, Spain and Portugal signed 10 Feb 1763. This treaty ended the French & Indian War in America and the Seven Years' War in Europe.
The territorial changes in the Americas
- France gave up Canada and all of its claims to the territory east of the Mississippi River to Britain.
- Spain ceded Florida to the British, and later received New Orleans and French Louisiana from the French
- Spain agreed to evacuate Colonia del Sacramento in America.
