King George's War (1744-1748)
The third of the four French and Indian Wars between British colonists and the French aided by their Indian allies. Fought mainly in the British colonies of New York, Massachusetts Bay, New Hampshire, and Nova Scotia. The war began in 1744 and ended with the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748.
