George Washinton (1732-1799) - Born 22 Feb 1732 on Pope's Creek Estate near present-day Colonial Beach in Westmoreland County, Virginia. Commander in Chief of the Continental Army (1775-1783). First President of the United States (1789-1797) for two terms. George Washington died at home around 10 pm on 14 Dec 1799.
