 John Adams (1735-1826) - Born 30 Oct 1735 in present day Quincy, Massachusetts. Founding father of the United States. First Vice President under George Washington and Second President of the United States from 1797 to 1801. Died 4 Jul 1826 at his home in Quincy, Massachusetts.
