Regina NWMP Depot

Regina NWMP Depot (1882-Present) - A North West Mounted Police post first established in 1882. Became the Headquarters post, main supply depot and the sole cadet training facility. Located at present day Regina in Saskatchewan. Active post. Now known as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Depot.

Regina NWMP Depot Drill Hall, Original Riding School Buildings Destroyed by Fire in 1888 and 1920. Rebuilt in 1929. Converted to Drill Hall in 1953.	Regina NWMP Depot Chapel, Original Mess Hall Later Converted to a Chapel
A.B. Perry Building, Original "A" Block Building Destroyed by Fire in 1911. Rebuilt in 1912-1913. Renamed A.B. Perry Building in 1998.

Current Status

Regina RCMP Heritage Centre

Must See! Active post in Regina, Saskatchewan. Site of the RCMP Heritage Centre. Hourly guided tours of the post via electric trams included with the Heritage Centre admission. Daily Sgt. Major’s Parade at 12:45, Monday to Friday only. Sunset Retreat Ceremonies on tuesdays starting at 6:45pm from July 1 till August 12, weather permitting. Excellent displays in Heritage Centre and video presentation on cadet life in theater.
