Blockhouse No. 1 was a stone blockhouse with a terrace (parapet) on top. It was located 14 yards south of 109th Street and 7 yards west of the line of 7th Ave. This blockhouse still exists in Central Park. ![]() Blockhouse No. 2An American War of 1812 blockhouse established in 1814 in New York City, New York. Blockhouse No. 2 was a timber blockhouse located on the east side of Morningside Avenue West just within Morningside Park between 113th and 114th St. Stood on Mound opposite St. Lukes Hospital. No remains. Blockhouse No. 3An American War of 1812 blockhouse established in 1814 in New York City, New York. Blockhouse No. 3 was a timber blockhouse located on the south corner of 121st St. and Morningside Avenue. No remains. Blockhouse No. 4An American War of 1812 blockhouse established in 1814 in New York City, New York. Blockhouse No. 4 was a 35' square timber blockhouse located at the north end of Morningside Park on the south side of 123rd St. east of 10th Avenue. Opposite 439 West 123rd Street.
