Treaty of the Holston (2 Jul 1791) - The Treaty of the Holston was a treaty between William Blount, Governor of the Territory South of the Ohio River (In the name of President of the United States) and 48 Cherokee Chiefs. Signed on 2 Jul 1791 at James White’s Fort in present day Knoxville, Tennessee and proclaimed 7 Feb 1792.
