Baldwin

Baldwin Locomotive Works (1825-1972) - A builder of railroad locomotives. Originally located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Produced five 14" railway gun trains in World War I for the U.S. Navy and six for the U.S. Army.
For World War II Baldwin produced some 24, M1A1 railway carriages and support cars for the Navy 8" Mark VI guns produced by the Naval Gun Factory. The support cars included the M2 fire control car, the M1 machine shop car and ammunition cars.
