Camp Bitter Spring (1859-1860) - A U.S. Army Camp first established in 1859 by Major James Carlton on present day Fort Irwin in San Bernardino County, California. Abandoned in 1860. Also known as Redoubt Bitter Springs

Established in 1859 as a sub post of Camp Cady and located on the Salt Lake Road.

Abandoned in 1860.
