History
Camp Guernsey is a brigade-sized year-round training site for field artillery training and facilities for infantry, engineer, aviation, maintenance, and medical units.
Camp Guernsey was established in 1939 on the North Platte River in southeastern Wyoming next to the town of Guernsey. The installation has several scattered pieces of land that make up a North Training Area, South Training Area, and a Cantonment area for a total of some 35,000 acres.
Current Status
Active Army and Air National Guard training facility.
