Camp Rampart (1899-1901) - A U.S. Army Camp established in 1899 during the Alaska Gold Rush by Lieutenant Benjamin J. Tillman, 7th U.S. Infantry in present day Rampart, Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. Abandoned in 1901. HistoryEstablished by Lieutenant Benjamin J.
