Battery AMTB - Galveston Seawall (1943-1946) - Battery AMTB - Galveston Seawall was a reinforced concrete, World War II 90mm coastal gun battery on Fort San Jacinto, Galveston County, Texas. Battery construction started 2 Dec 1942, was completed 2 Apr 1943 and transferred to the Coast Artillery for use 4 Aug 1943 at a cost of $ 17,039.16. Deactivated in 1946.
