Camp Bullis (1917-Present) - First established in 1917 on the Leon Springs Military Reservation north of San Antonio in Bexar County, Texas. Named for Brigadier General John Lapham Bullis, U.S. Civil War veteran who saw service in the Indian wars and the Spanish American War. Active military reservation hosting Texas National Guard, Reserve and Federal components. Current StatusActive military installation part of Leon Springs Military Reservation, Bexar County, Texas
