Montgomery FAA Radar Site (Active) - A FAA Radar Site established near Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama. Initially assigned an ID of MGM. Active FAA Radar Site. History of Montgomery FAA Radar SiteThis site became an FAA/ADC joint-use site, furnishing radar track data to the FAA and data tied to USAF Direction Centers. Initially equipped with ARSR-1D radar equipment that has since been replaced with the Common Air Route Surveillance Radar (CARSR).
Current StatusActive facility in Montgomery, Montgomery County, Alabama.
