Liberty Arsenal (1836-1861) - A U.S. Army arsenal established in 1836 in present day Liberty, Clay County, Missouri. Captured by Missouri secessionists in 1861 at the start of the U.S. Civil War. Also known as Missouri Ordnance Depot.
