Rebel Redoubt (1776-1779) - A Patriot Revolutionary War fortification established in 1776 in New York City, Bronx County, New York. Situated between Fort No. 7 and Fort No. 8 in the present day Bronx. Captured by the British in 1776, improved and then held by them until 1779. Abandoned and destroyed by the British in September 1779.
