Rochester Air Force Station (1956-1957) - A Cold War U.S. Air Force Radar Station established in 1955. Located near Rochester in Olmsted County, Minnesota. Initially assigned a Permanent ID of M-101. Closed in 1957.

History

Established in 1955 and became operational in September 1956 as Rochester Air Force Station manned by the 808th Aircraft Control & Warning (AC&W) Squadron.

Initial equipment included the TPS-1D search radar.

Closed on 8 Sep 1957.

Physical Plant
