'''{{PAGENAME}}''' (1899-1944) - Battery Hudson was a reinforced concrete, [[Endicott Period]] 12 inch coastal gun battery on [[Fort Wadsworth (1)]], Richmond County, New York.  The battery was named in G.O. 43, 4 Apr 1900, after the old old earth battery in which it is located. Battery construction started in 1898, was completed in 1900 and transferred to the Coastal Artillery for use 18 Aug 1900 at a cost of $ 99,463.06. Deactivated in 1944.
