Camp Morris (1) (1863-1863) - A U.S. Cuvil War Camp first established by Major Clarence E. Bennett and Company K, 1st Cavalry California Volunteers, in 1863 at San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California. Abandoned in October 1863.
History of Camp Morris
Established 6 Jun 1863 by Major Clarence E. Bennett and Campany K, 1st Cavalry California Volunteers. The company was housed in buildings in town. The post was ordered vacated on 27 October 1863.
Current Status
No remains in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California.
