Camp Cameron (1) (1866-1867) - A temporary U.S. Army Camp established in 1866 in Pima County, Arizona. Named for Simon Cameron, Secretary of War under President Lincoln. Abandoned in 1867. Current StatusPima County, Arizona USGS Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) Database Entry: 40514
