Schofield Barracks

Schofield Barracks (1908-Present) - A U.S. Army post established in 1908 in present day Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii. Named for Lt. General John McAllister Schofield, Commanding General U.S. Army (1888-1895), U.S. Civil War Medal of Honor recipient, U.S. Secretary of War and U.S. Military Academy Superintendant. Schofield Barracks is an active military installation.
