Fort McNeil (1837-1837) - Established 28 Dec 1837. Named after 2nd Lt. John Winfield Scott McNeil who was killed in action near Dunlawton, 11 Sep 1837. Abandoned later in 1837.

Fort McNeil History

Built as a stockade with two blockhouses on diagonal corners.

No remains.
