Battery 121 (1943-1948) - Battery 121 was a reinforced concrete, World War II 16 inch coastal gun battery on Fort Story, Virginia. Battery construction started 6 Jan 1942, was completed on 31 Jan 1943 and transferred to the Coastal Artillery for use 12 Nov 1943 at a cost of $ 1,881,850.47. Deactivated in 1948.
