Schofield Barracks (1908-Present) - A U.S. Army post established in 1908 in present day Honolulu, Honolulu County, Hawaii. Named for Lt. General John McAllister Schofield, Commanding General U.S. Army (1888-1895), U.S. Civil War Medal of Honor recipient, U.S. Secretary of War, U.S. Military Academy Superintendant. Schofield Barracks is an active military installation.

Established in 1908 on 15,000 acres on Oahu Island in Hawaii.
