Access by conducted tours only from the on-site visitor center located at the [[Dalhousie Gate]]. The tour covers the historic buildings with some inside access but not the buildings in current use. Not to be missed is the ceremonial changing of the guard at 10am every morning during the season (summer). Also not to be missed is the ceremonial "Beating the Retreat" at 6pm on Saturday also during the season. Call ahead for these ceremonies as military priorities may cause them to be canceled.
