Battery construction started 3 Feb 1943, was completed 15 Mar 1943 and transferred to the Coast Artillery for use 15 Mar 1943 at a cost of $ 15,890.93. Deactivated in 1946. World War IIPart of the Harbor Defense of Southern New York.
