== Current Status ==
Part of Cape May Point State Park, Cape May County, New Jersey. The exposed concrete structure of [[Battery 223]] and several repurposed buildings that serve as the Visitor Center can still be seen. Fire control tower # 23 has been restored and visitors can climb to the top.

World War II (1941-1945)

Part of the Harbor Defense of the Delaware. Positioned at the mouth of the Delaware River, Cape May MR supported Fort Miles by provided rapid fire protection from fast moving subs and torpedo boats. It also provided searchlight and anti-aircraft installations.

Battery 223 and Battery AMTB 7 - Cape May were located on Cape May Military Reservation.
