Fort Ouiatenon (1722-1763) - A fortified French trading post established in 1722 in present day Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Turned over to the British in 1761. Captured by hostile Indians during Pontiac's War in 1763 and abandoned. Current StatusMarkers and replica blockhouse not on actual site in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, Indiana.
