Fossil FAA Radar Site (?????-Active) - A FAA Radar Site first established in ????? near Fossil, Wheeler County, Oregon. Assigned a FAA ID of QVN. Active FAA Radar Site. History of Fossil FAA Radar SiteThis site was established as an FAA radar site furnishing radar track data to the FAA and to USAF Command Centers as a part of the JSS System. The initial ARSR-3 radar equipment was replaced with a Common Air-Route Surveillance Radar (CARSR) radar as of 27 Aug 2012.
