Fort Gloucester (1635-1898) - First established in 1635 on Cape Ann in Essex County, Massachusetts. Abandoned in 1898. Also known at various times as Stage Fort, Fort Eastern Point, Fort Point (5), Fort Banks (4), Fort Cross (2), Fort Allen and Fort Conant.
