Fort Nonsense (2) (1808-1815) - A U.S. Army post established in 1808 in present day Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Abandoned in 1815. Also known as Old Fort Nonsense.

Fort Nonsense (2) History

A small circular earthen redoubt on about two acres located on Bieman's Hill on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy. Noted on 1834 map as Old Fort Nonsense. May have been a redoubt supporting Fort Madison (2).

Ruins on the grounds of the United States Naval Academy, Annapolis, Anne Arundel County, Maryland
