Fort Wetherill
Fort Wetherill (1900-1946) - First established in 1900 on the site of earlier fortifications. Named after Capt. Alexander M. Wetherill, who was killed in action at the Battle of San Juan Hill during the Spanish-American War. Abandoned in 1946.
